Being from LA I have yet to find decent tacos around North Jersey. Overall a good spot for tacos. Solid value when you get the bigger packages. Al Pastor and asada were good and enjoyed the sauces along with it.
I think this place is so underrated. Small little place that is best for take out. The burritos are always packed with meat and I am always full afterwards. I would definitely recommend this place. I have been to the other Taqueria Los Gueros locations in the area and I have to say that the people here are the most polite and happy to help.
For traditional Mexican take-out fare this place gets all boxes checked. Fresh, good portions, no surprises, tasty food.
Ordered their 30/$30 tacos and it was great for a quick cheap Friday night dinner. You get 3 proteins, Al pastor, pork and chicken. The tacos comes in 3 separate container and are each packed tight individual. I was driving and my bag of food was sliding around and I'm just think damn my food is gonna be ruined, but it was perfectly fine. The tacos were really good and still got by the time i got home. They came with the onions and cilantro on the side, sauces, mild and spicy and some spicy pickled cabbage. My family loved it. For a family of six 30 tacos were perfect. I also got horchata, and it was great. Perfect amount of cinnamon.
Rice and beans were well seasoned and pretty good! The pork and chicken dish was a bit too greasy. The sauces were a great accompaniment. All in all not bad. I will give this place another try in the near future!
Late night tacos was extremely satisfied with this place and the tacos. I loved the options and that you can do a family meal, like that's VALUE. I got the Mexican tacos, so worth it, the los tacos carnitas were okay. It was a little too fatty for me. The Al pastor tacos is a must and I have to say, the gringas was SO GOOD. I will always get this! The sweetness of the pineapple made it so tasty and sweet. Downside, I wish they gave you more than three small sauces when you have 8 tacos and a big quesadilla. Also, I'm not a huge fan of their payment system either, the 4% surcharge stinks, I get it, but maybe do a min. Amount instead?
